Petal Sparkling Botanicals Launches with World Finer Foods at Fancy Food Show

CHICAGO— Petal, the newest sparkling botanical blends on the natural beverage horizon, has signed a national contract with World Finer Foods (WFF) to tap into their dedicated team of experts to grow the Petal brand. Through WFF’s Liberty Richter division, Petal will make its West Coast debut at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. Alongside Petal partner BeyondBrands, World Finer Foods will help drive sales and marketing to allow Petal to focus on rolling out more floral flavors and scaling the brand nationally.

Petal uses only the finest botanical essences and extracts in its certified organic sparkling blends. Petal CEO and Founder Candice Crane shares her enthusiasm for partnering with such a reputable distributor. “World Finer Foods is supportive of our vision to help Petal blossom beyond just roses and incorporate the entire flower queen-dom,” she said. “With their expertise, we will be able to get Petal into more consumers’ hands across the United States.”

World Finer Foods is known for trendspotting health-conscious flavors, and they knew right away that Petal belonged in their portfolio of premium brands. World Finer Foods CEO Susan Guerin shares what attracted her to Petal, “I was instantly drawn to Petal’s fresh and innovative beverage concept. The brand’s packaging pops off the shelf.” Guerin adds what she hopes WorldFiner Foods will help Petal accomplish at the Fancy Food Show and beyond, “We look forward to bringing Petal to consumers across the U.S., wherever they shop.”

Petal made its debut Memorial Day weekend 2018 with three rebelliously rosy flavors: Original Rose, Mint Rose and Lychee Rose. After just four months on the market, the team is humbled to have an opportunity to operate on a larger scale and gain more mentorship. Crane elaborates, “I am very proud of what Petal has achieved in a short amount of time. This is just the beginning for us. We are thrilled to work with World Finer Foods, Liberty Richter and BeyondBrands to take Petal through its next phase of growth.” Petal will introduce three new, wildly original botanical flavors at the Fancy Food Show: Elderberry White Tea Flower, Lemongrass Dandelion and Peach Marigold.

Petal has experienced success through its Amazon storefront as well as securing key grocery accounts in Chicago, including Sunset Foods, Plum Market, Potash Market and more. The brand has been well received by its target audience as a go-to thirst quencher, cocktail mixer or post-workout refreshment. Through its new partnership with World Finer Foods, Petal plans to expand its reach by launching in new markets and retailers in 2019.
