Police officers in the holy city of Makkah returned a lost bag of money and a passport to American Haj pilgrims within 24 hours.
According to a report in the Saudi Gazette, the pilgrims had lost the bag in a taxi. They had been shifting from their apartment in Al-Tayseer neighborhood in Makkah to another place and the bag was lost in the process. The bag contained $3,800 (Dh13,900 approx.) and a passport.
After being informed of the incident, police immediately began a search for the bag and returned it to the pilgrims. Two of them are teachers in New York and the third one works in the army.
