Since March 15, the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia has inspected over 13,000 companies and drawn up 1,015 records. This is what Head of the Food Safety Inspectorate Georgy Avetisyan declared after the session of the Commandant’s Office for the state of emergency declared in the country.

According to him, during this period, public food outlets and food production companies have been closed down.

“Out of 4,000 inspections, there were only 1,000 violations regarding social distancing, face masks and other requirements of the Commandant’s Office,” he stated.
