The all-encompassing theme of 'Beef for a Better Planet' will be front of mind for speakers and guests at the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum.
More than 1000 people, representing 26 countries from within the World Angus Secretariat will attend the event at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 7-8.
Neogen World Angus Forum coordinator Mel Strasburg said this event (which hasn't been held in Australia since 1997 in Sydney) will provide delegates with an insight into the latest technology, genetics, and innovations available within the beef industry.
"Those in attendance will explore the concepts and challenges of the Australian beef industries' quest to attain carbon neutrality by 2030," Ms Strasburg said.
"The Neogen World Angus Forum will also provide the perfect opportunity for delegates to network and interact with each other, and the exhibitors at the trade display, who're looking forward to sharing information about their latest industry-related products and services."
This exploration of all things Angus will start on the morning of Wednesday, May 7.
After the opening formalities have been conducted, former Australian rugby player, and Mettle Group founder, John Eales, will take to the podium to relate his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence, which have led him to become a respected figure in the sports and business arenas.

"Guests will enjoy a spectacular six-course fine dining experience, prepared and designed by The Star Brisbane head chef, Mark Penna, while they're entertained by the talented Butcher Girl Alison.
"It's the perfect opportunity to come together, celebrate, and indulge in a night to remember."
