Saginaw bar featured in film ‘Street Boss’ hits market for $160K

A neighborhood bar that’s been pouring drinks and making memories since 1983 is up for sale, offering an opportunity to own a piece of local history.

Rascals Lounge, 2139 Warwick, between Davenport and State streets on Saginaw’s West Side, is listed by Wilson Realty, Inc. for $160,000.

The listing states, “This spot is perfect for anyone looking to take over a beloved neighborhood watering hole with all the essential elements of a great speak-easy style bar without the costs/maintenance of owning the real estate.”

The 1,500-square-foot bar was featured in the movie “Street Boss.”

Frankenmuth’s highly anticipated Bavarian Blast Waterpark announces soft opening

After much anticipation, Bavarian Blast Waterpark, Michigan’s largest indoor waterpark and family fun center, is ready to welcome its first guests with a soft opening on Friday, March 21.

Hotel overnight guests and a limited number of day pass holders will be among the first to experience the $80 million expansion at the Bavarian Inn Lodge.

The massive new attraction features 16 waterslides, a giant wave pool, a not-so-lazy river, and Michigan’s first swim-up bar—promising thrills and fun for visitors of all ages, according to company officials. The opening marks a significant milestone for the Bavarian Inn Lodge, which has been a staple of Frankenmuth’s hospitality and tourism industry for decades.

Bay County has a new option for chicken enthusiasts.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is now open for business on Euclid Avenue in Bangor Township. The location at 1000 N. Euclid Ave. opened Saturday, March 22, on the former site of a demolished motel.
