Adani Group
The Navbharat Mega Developers, the special purpose vehicle (SPV) of the Maharashtra government and Adani group, will get to sell 10 to 12.5 million sq ft of properties a year once the project is completed. The SPV aims to complete the project in seven years.
Wipro
Wipro said it has secured a nearly $650 million (£500 million) 10-year strategic partnership with Phoenix Group, the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. The agreement aims to enhance life and pension business administration for the ReAssure business and drive Phoenix Group’s operational transformation.
Hindustan Unilever
Rajneet Kohli, former chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director of Britannia Industries, will join Hindustan Unilever (HUL) as executive director, foods, on April 7, the company said on Wednesday. He will replace Shiva Krishnamurthy, who will move on from his role to pursue an external opportunity, the company said. Kohli will also join HUL’s management committee, effective April 7.
Bharti Airtel
Bharti Airtel announced that the company and its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom Ltd have prepaid additional Rs 5,985 crore to the Department of Telecom thereby fully prepaying the high-cost interest liabilities of 8.65per cent pertaining to the 2024 auctions. Airtel’s subsidiary Network i2i Ltd has also voluntarily called and redeemed $1 billion in Perpetual Notes, the company said in a regulatory filing.
JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals
The private equity firm KKR, the promoter of JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, has launched a block deal with a base size of around $200 million via seeking to dilute part stake in the leading drugmaker, reported Moneycontrol citing multiple industry sources.
Bharat Forge
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed contracts worth Rs 6,900 crore with Bharat Forge and Tata Advanced Systems for the procurement of 155mm/52 calibre advanced towed artillery gun systems (ATAGS) and high mobility vehicle 6×6 gun towing vehicles.
NBCC
NBCC India signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to jointly undertake consultancy, EPC, fee-based, and redevelopment projects across Maharashtra. The estimated value of these projects stands at Rs 25,000 crore, with execution planned in phases over the next three to five years.
Piramal Enterprises
Piramal Enterprises infused Rs 600 crore into Piramal Finance, its wholly owned subsidiary, through a rights issue, according to a regulatory filing on March 26, 2025. The investment aims to support PFL’s business operations and general corporate purposes.
