Video shows police foot chase through grocery store parking lot, arrest made

REDDING, Calif. — Redding police were seen chasing a suspect through the grocery store parking lot on Churn Creek Wednesday morning.

According to the Redding Police Department, officers responded to reports of a man running in the roadway.

When police ordered the man to stop, they said he refused and took off running.

After a brief foot chase, officers were able to capture and arrest the suspect.

He now faces several charges, including resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication of drugs and/or alcohol.
