Domino’s unveils bonkers Garlic & Herb Easter egg

Domino's has released perhaps the weirdest Easter egg yet - which is inspired by its iconic Garlic & Herb Dip.
White chocolate eggs have been infused with garlic & herb flavours, created by those at the pizza maker's HQ.
It also comes with a 25g pot of the sauce for those who dare to experience them together.
This invention is the latest from the pizza producers, which previously showcased the Pothole Pro Max – a bike with built in oven, designed to cope with the worst potholes.
As well as a Pepperoni Passion inspired perfume, which was released ahead of Valentine's Day this year.
Izzy Gardener from the brand said: “Easter is the perfect time to treat yourself, and we wanted to bring a fun, flavour-packed twist to the traditional chocolate egg.
“This Easter Egg is for the Garlic & Herb Dip fans who want to mix things up this year.”
With Garlic & Herb dip being regarded as their most popular, the brand previously reported in 2023 Brits consumed enough to fill 17 Olympic sized swimming pools.
They sourced inspiration from the world’s best chocolatiers to develop the new creation, creating their own, original chocolate.
In an amusing video, the brand has replicated the making of the product in a luxurious clip similar to that of a rival, famous chocolate brand.
A chef melts white chocolate and then adds dried parsley herbs to intensify the taste.
The concoction is then seen being mixed together with a whisk, before being poured into the egg-shaped moulds.
After the egg is revealed in all its glory, you can then see it placed on a plinth, housed in the same colour packaging as the dip its inspired by.
Fans will need to head to dominoseasteregg.com between Friday 4th April and Monday 14th April for the chance to get their hands on the limited-edition egg.
A spokesperson for the brand added: “At Domino's, we're passionate about pushing the boundaries to deliver exceptional quality and taste to our customers.
"To our knowledge, nothing like this has been created before, which makes us even more excited to hear how people react to the limited-edition Easter treat."
Elsewhere, bargain hunters have been scrambling to get their hands on M&S’s must-have Easter eggs — with chancers flogging them online for double the price.
The fancy Extra Thick Pistachio Milk Chocolate Egg from the M&S Collection has already flown off shelves nationwide, along with the fan-favourite Outrageously Chocolatey Custard Cream Biscuity Egg.
It’s the same story for the £12 Custard Cream egg, with one fed-up shopper moaning on Ocado.com: “Never available. Why sell something that is impossible to buy?!”
One Pistachio egg even sparked a bidding war on eBay in late March — with seven bids pushing the price up to £28.19, well over its original £20 tag.
Even the £12 Custard Cream version has been resold for £19.
As Easter approaches sellers are hoping for even more, with some currently listing them for around £40 for the Pistachio and £35 for the Custard Cream, more than double the original price.
Last week, we found the best supermarket deals from Cadbury, Lindt, or Nestlé, to help you save on your Easter chocolate.
Meanwhile, Tesco slashed a number of its large eggs, although shoppers were still complaining that the cost is still far too high.
A selection of its premium eggs are now priced at either £12 down from £17.50, or £15 down from £20 for those with the loyalty card.
They include the Lindt Milk Chocolate Egg With Lindor Milk Truffels 348G, which is now £15, and the Ferrero Rocher Golden Easter Egg With White Chocolate 250G, which is now £12.
Clubcard holders can also get the Raffaello White Chocolate Easter Egg 235g for £12 instead of £17.50.
But shoppers on the Snack Reviews Facebook group hit out at the prices despite the reductions.
