The Food Standards Agency has announced numerous food product recalls this month. The recalls include various food items that may contain substances not listed in the ingredients, as well as dangerous things that definitely should not be in food products.

The more serious problems include Tony’s Chocolonely Easter eggs that may contain pieces of metal. And the same company has recalled some of its chocolate bars because they could contain stones.

Meanwhile, Sainsbury's has issued a warning about its Taste the Difference Belgian Milk Chocolate Honeycomb Pretzel because they may contain pieces of metal.

Below are the warnings that appear on the Food Standards Agency's website:

Aldi potatoes

Aldi is recalling Inspired Cuisine Baby Potatoes with Herbs and Butter because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Anglesey Foods Ltd jams

Anglesey Foods Ltd is recalling various jams, chutneys and pesto because barley (gluten) and/or sulphites are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten, or with coeliac disease, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.

The products are: Sundried Tomato Pesto, Cowboy Chutney, Mango Chilli Chutney, Hot Chilli Jam and Mild Chilli Jam

Hawkstone lagers

The Cotswold Brewing Company Limited is recalling Hawkstone Black and Hawkstone Spa Lager because they contain undeclared wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or with coeliac disease.

Tony’s Chocolonely Easter eggs

Tony’s Chocolonely is recalling two Large Hollow Easter Eggs because they may contain pieces of metal which makes these products unsafe to eat.

Tony’s Chocolonely two chocolate bars

The same company also is recalling Dark Almond Sea Salt and Everything Bar because they may contain small stones. This product recall has been updated to include further dates and batch codes and replaces previous product recall notice.

Ruffles Sabor a Jamόn Crisps

3D Trading is recalling Ruffles Sabor a Jamόn Crisps because they contain milk and soya which are not listed in English on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or an allergy to soya.

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Belgian Milk Chocolate Honeycomb Pretzel

Sainsbury’s is recalling Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Belgian Milk Chocolate Honeycomb Pretzel because it may contain pieces of metal. The possible presence of metal pieces makes this product unsafe to eat.
